The number of trees allowed to be cut down each year is 5 per lot, unless otherwise granted by the Board of Adjustment, Planning Board or Environmental Commission. The 5 trees should be 12 inches or greater at ground level. Trees that are dead, dying, diseased or less than 12 inches are not included in the 5 tree cap. There is no permit required for trimming of trees or shrubs.
All premises and exterior property shall be maintained free from weeds or plant growth in excess of 10 inches. All noxious weeds shall be prohibited. Weeds shall be defined as all grasses, annual plants and vegetation, other than trees or shrubs provided; however, this term shall not include cultivated flowers and gardens.
A Zoning Permit is required for all new fence installations or major repairs. No fence higher than 4 feet is permitted in the front of your property. Side fences can be 6 feet, no higher. Minor repair or small replacement of existing fences do not require a permit.
