WORK SESSION MEETING
Present: J. Brotherton, C. Phiefer, D. Wenger and J. DeWan (secretary)
7:45 p.m. began discussing routine mail received since the last meeting held on December 8, 2004.
ANJEC meeting to be held at Wyckoff Town Hall on January 17 from 7 – 8:30 p.m.
Budget hearing for Environmental Commission on February 1, 2005, evening session.
Bergen Shade Tree League meeting in Upper Saddle River Borough Hall on January 19th at 8 p.m.
SOIL MOVEMENT PERMIT APPLICATIONS
Memo to Administrative Officer:
“The following permit applications were reviewed by the Environmental Commission.
Matthew and Linda Maley 551 Campgaw Road, Bl. 156, Lot 71, E-BD-216-1733, dated 12/10/04. Please refer to attached tree preservation application. If ten trees are to be removed, two replacement trees are required.
Mr. and Mrs. Rich Wong 11 Cider Court, Bl. 126, Lot 144.04, E-BD-216-304-380, revised 1/4/05.
This plan seems agreeable. It would certainly screen their yard and pool. The removal of the existing trees maybe in conflict with the original tree removal plan when the house was built.”

Tree Preservation Application is approved.
There will be seventy-six replacement trees.

56 Great Hall Road, Bl. 21.07, Lot 16.2
We feel that the selection of Kwanzan Cherries is not a native hardwood.
We would like the applicant to substitute another variety for the six replacement trees.”
