GRASS CLIPPINGS, LEAVES AND BRUSH                                  

GRASS CLIPPINGS:

The Township Public Works Department will collect grass clippings and small yard waste on Thursdays and Friday from April 12, 2012 and will continue through September 28, 2012. The schedule remains the same as previous yeasrs, (recycling sections 1, 2 and 3 on Thursdays, and sections 4, 5 and 6 on Fridays).   The grass and small yard waste must be in bio-degradable brown paper bags placed at the curb by 7:00am.  

GRASS CLIPPING DROP OFF

Grass can be disposed off at the Center from 7:00am to 3:30pm April 4, 2013 continuing through September 27, 2013.

LEAVES

Leaves will be picked up on a continuous schedule from October 15, 2012 through December 7, 2012.  During the leaf season your grass clippings can be mixed with the leaves left at the curb.

REQUIREMENTS FOR CURBSIDE LEAF PICK-UP ARE AS FOLLOWS:

Leaves must be piled at the curb, NOT the road.
Leaves in plastic bags will not be picked up.
NO brush, branches, or stones are to be mixed in with the leaves.

LEAVES WILL NOT BE PICKED UP IF NOT CORRECTLY PREPARED.

 

 

CHRISTMAS TREES

Christmas trees will be picked up curbside starting the week of January 2, 2013 through February 1, 2013.  Condo Associations with their own droppoff sites will have trees collected starting the week of January 14, 2013.TBA

BRUSH

The 2013 brush season will start April 6, 2013 and will conclude on September 28, 2013.


There will be NO CURBSIDE BRUSH PICK-UP offered by the Township.  All brush disposal will be done at the recycling center ONLY.  Residents can bring their brush to the Recycling Center on SATURDAYS BETWEEN 7:30 a.m. AND 12:30 p.m.  NO EXCEPTIONS.

Brush disposed of at the Center (SATURDAY ONLY) may be done between 7:30a.m. and 12:30 p.m. and must be prepared as follows:
Anything under four (4) feet must be bundled.
Any brush over four (4) feet must have stems or butts facing the same way.
All stumps and roots must be removed.

Firewood, roots and logs may be disposed of at the Center (SATURDAY ONLY) between 7:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.

Any changes, additions, or deletions to the schedule will be brought to your attention through local newspapers (Suburban News).

All recyclables must be at curb by 7:00 a.m.

Pickup starts at 7:00 a.m. - each street is picked up once.


In case of snow there will be no pickup - pickup will be on your next regular scheduled pickup day.

Recycling Center hours:  Monday thru Friday 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.; Saturday 7:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
