OVERVIEW OF SUSTAINABLE JERSEY™ and

UPDATE ON NEW ACTIONS FOR 2010

Come learn about what’s new for 2010 in the Sustainable Jersey™ program.  Whether your municipality is already certified, is registered with the program, or is just getting started on the path to sustainability, the Sustainable Jersey program offers tools and resources that will help you to achieve your goals.

In addition to a second “Silver” level of certification, we’ll tell you about the new actions that have been added for 2010.  You’ll also have the opportunity to hear from a representative from one of the Sustainable Jersey certified communities about his/her challenges and successes.

Find out about financial and other incentives for participating communities.  You’ll get updates on the Sustainable Jersey Small Grant program funded by Wal-Mart, and hear about new additions to the Sustainable Jersey website (www.sustainablejersey.com.  The website’s “Mappler” application lets you search for other towns that are working on similar actions.
