GRANT LAKE HENRY TRAIL SIGNS
Susan Golz drafted a progress report to NJ DEP. Some additional information on the purchase orders issued so far was added. Also it was decided to request a modification to the original grant budget. Due to the expected cost of sign production, we requested permission to change the budgeted amount for “consultants” from $2,000. to $1,000. and to add the funds to “other costs – for creating placards”.
A copy of the final letter to NJ DEP on the grant progress report is attached to these minutes.
SITE PLAN REVIEW
Pilot Travel Centers, 230 Route 17
Dkt. 1164-05 SP
Memo to Board of Adjustment”
“We have been reconsidering the Pilot Travel application. We would like to add to our comments made after our December 14th review of the plans. It has come to our attention that there have been spills on this site in the past where there was fuel runoff into the Masonicus Brook. We believe there should be a DEP case number on the environmental conditions there. We suggest the Board investigate the matter.
Also we did not ask for an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) in December, however, we now feel that requesting an EIS is appropriate.”
