A work session meeting of the Environmental Commission started at 7:45 p.m.
Present: J. Brotherton, S. Golz, K. La Greca and J. DeWan (secretary)
SOIL MOVEMENT PERMIT APPLICATIONS
After a review of routine soil applications, the following memo was written to the Administrative Officer:
“The following soil movement permit applications were reviewed by the Environmental Commission on June 25, 2003. Comments are listed below:
M. Belgiovine, 31 Tudor Rose Terrace Bl. 23.02, Lot 23, E-BD-216-239-355, dated 6/2/03.
Please have the applicant supply a completed tree preservation application form.
Nelson Hom, 51 Sparrowbush Road Bl. 125, Lot 12, E-BD-216-1483, dated 6/16/03 – approved.
KKTT Restaurant Corp., 150 Franklin Turnpike Bl. 71, Lot 6, Dkt. 459S, dated 6/17/03 – approved.”
Reviewed two letters to the Township from DEP.
• Shell, 62 Franklin Turnpike about monitoring of a leak
• Concerning transition area buffers in the Township of Mahwah
Woodcliff Lake Development (Aronson property off Campgaw Road)
J. Brotherton reported that a new revised site plan was reviewed at the Planning Board and that an EIS is coming.
GIS Susan Golz gave a presentation on the progress of her work with the geographical information system.
The work session meeting was adjourned at 9:00 p.m. The next meeting of the Environmental Commission will take place on Wednesday, July 9, 2003.
