Re: Recreation Facility, Route 202
Now that the Route 202 recreation area is planned and approved, we would like to see a plan which shows the trees to be removed. It was our understanding that the project would follow the Township requirement which requires replacement of 25% of trees being removed.”

SOIL MOVEMENT PERMIT APPLICATIONS
Memo to Administrative Officer:
“The following soil movement applications were reviewed.
Anthony Errico, 32 Vail Place, Bl. 147, Lot 4.02, E-BD-216-1286, amended 1/29/02. We still do not feel that development of this type is good on this lot.
John P. O’Grady, Midvale Mountain Road, Bl. 1, Lot 159.02, E-BD-216-1297, dated 2/15/02. The soil movement is approved, but we prefer that the number of trees being removed be reduced. Please ask the applicant to work with the grade in front of the house so that many of the trees in the front can be preserved.”
Reviewed a memo from Brian Campion about marking storm drains.

Re: Storm Drains
“We reviewed your note about the storm drain marking program. We would like to be involved. We will report to you later.
Another solution to the storm drain marking problem: Certain manufacturers of storm drains are actually labeling “Dump No Water – Drains to River” on the drain. There is also a picture of a fish on each end. The city of Hackensack is currently using them. They can be customized and they are on state contract. We may consider making this a requirement in future storm drain installations.”
